Certificates & Degrees in Allied Health & Safety

The Patient Navigation Certificate will teach you how to guide people through the healthcare system.
A Phlebotomy Certificate will prepare you to collect, handle and process blood samples for testing.
First Aid / CPR incorporates emergency skills and emphasizes utilizing the priorities of care and approach to the patient as demonstrated by professional emergency care providers.
BLS/CPR: Designed for Healthcare provides and provides CPR instruction based on standards established by the American Heart Association.

Entrance Requirements

High school diploma or GED (with exception of the Nursing Assistant course)
Meet specific reading, writing and language proficiency requirements through placement testing.
Pass a criminal background investigation (for courses with a practicum component)
Complete required current healthcare worker vaccinations and Tuberculosis screening (for courses with a practicum component)
