Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging
WWCC strives to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, not only because diversity fuels excellence and innovation but because we want to pursue justice. We are all responsible for creating a safer, more inclusive environment.
The Office for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (ODEIB) facilitates and supports the development of institutional policies and protocols intended to create a more representative, equitable and inclusive Walla Walla Community College.
The ODEIB aims to provide helpful resources for our students, faculty, staff and community that will inform our ongoing quest for social and racial equity and create a sense of belonging for all. With a collaborative approach to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging efforts, the ODEIB serves as a resource for the identification and analysis of best practices and national trends related to access, inclusion, intercultural competencies, diversity and equity.
