Curriculum Council
Mission
To ensure that curriculum is consistent with our mission, vision, and values.
Vision
Curriculum Council will ensure that all courses and programs at WWCC inspire students to discover their potential and achieve their goals by providing relevant, equitable, and innovative learning opportunities and services.
Goals
- Curriculum Council will recommend curriculum management software to the Vice President of Instruction that streamlines curriculum and program development.
- Curriculum Council will develop a 5-year Council Strategic Plan establishing operational committees/taskforces, procedural guidelines, and criteria for the curriculum review and recommendation process.
- Curriculum Council will establish policies and procedures that ensure the alignment of course, program, and institutional learning outcomes.
- Curriculum Council will collaborate with the Assessment Coordinator and the Institutional Research and Effectiveness Office in this work.
