Clarkston – Culture Club

The mission of the Culture Club shall be to encourage and exemplify learning comradery among all students and all people, regardless of differences.

Clarkston – Nursing Club

Clarkston Nursing Club

Increase the opportunities for the personal growth and professional development of all nursing students at WWCC, all those interested in Nursing, and all Nursing and Pre-Nursing students. Provide professional programs of interest and concern to student nurses and those interested in nursing. Provide nursing students, and those interested in nursing with representation in the Student Government Association (SGA). Provide opportunities for socialization to promote a sense of unity among nursing students, and those interested in nursing. Promote collaborative relationships with local community service groups, health related organizations, health professionals, and other student groups. Promote student success by removing barriers, providing support, retention, student engagement and leadership. Build strong communities by building partnerships, increasing global awareness, community service and volunteer work. Promote Resource Stewardship by using student funds wisely, fundraising and environmental stewardship.

Clarkston – Video Game Club

The Clarkston Campus Video Game Club is open to all students at any skill levels. Our inclusive atmosphere fosters camaraderie and fun, making it the perfect place to unwind and connect with fellow students. Whether you’re a casual player or a seasoned pro, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy. Join us for our regular events and social gatherings, where you can make new friends and share your love for gaming.

An Inclusive Community dedicated to fostering passion for welding among its members. The club offers hands on learning opportunities and projects to students of all skill levels.

DECA Club

Walla Walla & Clarkston

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management through leader-ship conferences and world-class competitions. Participation improves effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills while providing opportunities for teamwork and networking.

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society

The Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society offers opportunities for scholarships and connections for high-achieving students at WWCC.

What is PTK?

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is the official honor society of WWCC, recognizing exceptional academic performance among students enrolled in certificate, associate, and bachelor’s programs. WWCC is proud to be the home of the Alpha Nu Phi Chapter.

Who Can Join?

  • Currently enrolled WWCC students in certificate, associate, or bachelor’s programs.
  • A 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher.
  • Completion of at least 12 credit hours in one of the eligible programs.

Why Join PTK?

  • Recognition as a PTK Elite Scholar.
  • Access to members-only scholarships.
  • Potential tuition discounts at transfer institutions.
  • Special graduation regalia (e.g., cords, stoles) to wear during the ceremony.
  • A community of fellow high-achieving Warriors.

All clubs are open to all currently enrolled WWCC students. You do not need to be in a specific program or student population to join any club.

Student clubs are open to all WWCC students regardless of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, ability, major, class, marital or family status, military or veteran status, citizenship, creed, national origin, language, or disability.

There are lots of reasons why you should join a club. Being a member or an officer of a club can contribute to your personal development, professional growth, and network opportunities. By joining a club you will do many things, including:

  • Expand your experiences for your resume or college application
  • Learn how to engage with diverse groups of people
  • Make new friends and connections
  • Network at college, state, and national levels
  • Get opportunities to apply knowledge gained in class
  • Relieve stress and have fun

Student Clubs are chartered through the Student Club Council. Funding for student clubs comes from the Services and Activities Fee.

The benefits of having a club are:

  • funding opportunities for activities
  • use of the WWCC name and logo
  • ability to fund-raise on campus
  • plan campus activities with support from Student Life
  • free use of campus rooms
