Bring Sought-After Science Skills to the Table
Chemistry gives you a broad set of skills for the job market. If you love teaching others the joy of science, you could work toward a career as a teacher or professor. If you love seeing chemistry at work in the world, you could find jobs in manufacturing, engineering, agriculture or architecture. If you love research, you could work in a lab developing new products and materials. And eastern Washington has one of the highest concentrations of chemist jobs of any non-metro area in the country. So you can count on chances to use your skills right here in the Northwest.
Certificates & Degrees in Chemistry
Chemistry provides many of the terms, facts and tools you’ll need to succeed in science. That’s why many science programs require at least a year or two of Chemistry to get you started. If you plan to earn a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, an Associate in Science is a good way to start. If you plan to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, you can start with an Associate in Arts.
