Walla Walla Community College

While illness, surgery, injuries are not covered disabilities under the American with Disabilities Act here at WWCC we are here to support the health and well-being of our students. For students needing support after an illness, surgery, or injury including concussions we may be able to provide reasonable accommodations on a temporary basis.

Step 1: Complete Request for Temporary Accommodations

Step 2: DSS staff will send you an email after reviewing your accommodation request with a way to schedule an intake meeting. You will need to meet with DSS to discuss your request before accommodations can be put in place.

Step 3: If you would like to request an extension for your Temporary Accommodation please email your DSS coordinator at least 2 weeks prior to the expiration of your accommodation. New documentation may be required to grant an extension.

Student Athletes

If you receive an injury during practice or at a game the athletic trainer can assist you in filling out the request form. If you would like the athletic trainer to communicate with DSS you will have to give permission through the request form process.
