New Warrior Pledge covers tuition, books and supplies for local students

Walla Walla Community College is making it even easier for you to earn a certificate or associate degree.

The Warrior Pledge is a new program only available through Walla Walla Community College. It is designed to make it as easy as possible for you to attend college and complete a certificate or associate degree. Approximately 50 students will receive Warrior Pledge assistance for Fall Quarter.

How does the Pledge work?

Warrior Pledge fills the gap. We cover tuition and other educational expenses not covered by state and other financial aid programs. A designated navigator will help assess and address your needs—from start to graduation.

Who is eligible?

You are eligible to participate if you live in Walla Walla, Columbia, Garfield or Asotin counties in Washington; Umatilla County, Oregon; or Nez Perce County, Idaho. The Warrior Pledge is available to all WWCC students in all areas of study. You are also eligible if you are an adult learner or an undocumented student.

Does the money have to be paid back?

No. Warrior Pledge is a scholarship program that spends funds provided to the WWCC Foundation from generous donors.

Complete the form by August 22, 2022, and someone will contact you to determine your eligibility for participation.
