Hello WWCC students, faculty and staff:
College officials met yesterday to review current COVID-19 conditions in our weekly assessment of the temporary transition to online courses and other measures we put in place on January 19. While the number of daily infections holds steady, the infection rate remains extremely high, which means that the current health measures will be extended for one more week (through February 11).
Attendance of WWCC home basketball games scheduled for February 5 will continue to be restricted to VIPs identified by the players and coaches, with the same offer extended to players and coaches from the visiting teams.
Our goal is to return to in-person classes, and we remain optimistic about this situation improving very soon. Until then, please remember that campuses and offices are open and services remain available in person, so please reach out to WWCC staff and faculty for any assistance that you may need.
