For the Media
Media inquiries can be directed to the Marketing and Communications Director. To help us connect you with the right expert quickly, please include your deadline and story topic. For interviews with the college’s executive leadership team, contact Rebecca Thorpe at rebecca.thorpe@wwcc.edu.
Story and Content Development
Identifying a great story can be challenging when you’re in the middle of it. That’s where we come in. Our team offers fresh perspectives to uncover narratives that align with the college’s strategic goals and highlight the achievements of faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
Feature articles are shared on the WWCC website, in print materials, marketing campaigns, email newsletters, and social media. To maximize impact, we also pitch stories to relevant media markets.
We’ll help you craft your story in the most effective way, whether through traditional storytelling, photo and video integration, or custom web design.
Internal Communications
Internal emails, newsletters, and memos play a vital role in keeping our employees and students statewide connected and informed about essential news and events that contribute to their success. WWCC communications works directly with campus leadership and departments to deliver timely and clear updates on critical information.
Weekly Newsletter
President Chad Hickox writes a weekly newsletter, View from my Window, to keep the WWCC community informed and aware of the college’s news. He also includes important updates regarding higher education topics that are relevant to our community.
