On January 24th, WWCC sent 13 Professional Agricultural students to an agricultural competition with Spokane and Columbia Basin Community Colleges. Students spent the day in Spokane competing in knowledge testing and interview skills.
Instructors Alan Raeder, Joe Montoya, and Grayson Wallis accompanied their students to the event after weeks of preparation drafting resumes and cover letters as well as preparing for the many testing categories.
Out of the 17 tests available, WWCC students placed at the top of 14 tests!
WWCC Student, Staci Maiden, also competed in the Ag Ed competition, taking second place with a well-laid-out lesson plan. Three additional students also participated in the impromptu speaking contest.
Our students are excited to be eligible for the March National Conference in Sheridan, Wyoming. Congratulations! #WarriorProud
