Walla Walla Community College and the Wine Country Culinary Institute are excited to host an open house for potential culinary students from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22.
Visitors will be able to tour the main kitchens, meet instructors and staff, and sample some bites prepared by students. It’s a great opportunity to get an inside look at one of the valley’s most unique educational programs.
The Wine Country Culinary Institute offers a two-year associate degree in Culinary Arts that gives students the opportunity to learn from skilled chefs, experience a one-of-a-kind Farm to Fork program, and launch their culinary careers.
“The culinary program is really here to train and get them set up for the next stage of their career. And we have a lot of fun things happening right now,” says Director of Culinary Arts Jacob Crenshaw.
If you’d like to attend, you can R.S.V.P. to Crenshaw at [email protected] or 509.524.5164 for details.
