Email Guidelines

All email signatures associated with your wwcc.edu address must adhere to one of the approved designs. This ensures a consistent and professional appearance across all college communications.

EMAIL SIGNATURES

To set up these email signatures, follow these steps:

Outlook

Setting Up Your WWCC Email Signature in Outlook

Choose a Signature Layout
- Find the signature design you like, highlight it, and copy it.
Open Signature Settings in Outlook
- Windows: Go to File > Options > Mail > Signatures.
- Mac: Go to Outlook > Settings> Signatures.
Add a New Signature
- Create a new signature and paste the design into the box.
Update Your Information
- Replace placeholder text with your name, title, and contact details.
- Update the Email Address: Highlight the default email address, click the link icon (or right-click > Hyperlink), and update both the display text and the link to your WWCC email address.
Set It as Default
- Use the dropdown menus to select your new signature for new emails and replies.
Save and Test
- Click Save or OK to finish.
- Send a test email to yourself or a colleague to ensure everything is correct.

Apple Mail

Setting Up Your WWCC Email Signature in Apple Mail

Choose a Signature Layout
- Find the signature design you like, highlight it, and copy it.
Open Signature Settings in Apple Mail
- Open the Mail app.
- Click Mail in the top menu bar and select Settings (previously “Preferences”).
- Navigate to the Signatures tab.
Add a New Signature
- In the Signatures window, select the email account you want to add the signature to.
- Click the “+” button to create a new signature.
- Give it a recognizable name (e.g., “WWCC Email Signature”).
- Paste the copied signature design into the signature box.
Update Your Information
- Replace placeholder text with your name, title, and contact details.
- Update the Email Address: Highlight the default email address, click the link icon, and update both the display text and the link to your WWCC email address.
Set It as Default
- Under Choose Signature, select your new signature from the dropdown menu for new emails and replies/forwards.
Save and Test
- Close the Settings window to save your changes.
- Send a test email to yourself or a colleague to ensure everything looks correct.
