A fun and enriching college experience for kids and teens. Summer camps, STEM, and more!
Youth Classes & Summer Camps
Come Learn, Explore, and Play!
Continuing & Community Education classes provide a fun and enriching college experience for kids and teens ages 5-17. We are bound to have a class that interests your child after school, on the weekend, or during the summer. Topic areas include art, technology, cooking, science, sports/fitness, summer camps, and more.
At Kids College, we provide a dynamic and enriching summer camp experience for children aged 9-13. Our mission is to inspire a love for learning, foster creativity, and cultivate a sense of curiosity that will last a lifetime. We believe that every child deserves an opportunity to explore the exciting world of higher education in a fun and supportive environment.
KIDS COLLEGE INFORMATION
- Kids College is for children ages 9-13.
- All camps have limited enrollment. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Children must be registered under their own name and birthdate. When registering online, please create a sign in/account for your child (do not register a child under your own account). If you are registering multiple children, each child will need their own account.
- Prior to registering for a camp, please read the camp description carefully so you are aware of the camp requirements.
- Please let us know at the time of registration if your child has any special accommodations or modifications that we need to be aware of.
- The college does not provide insurance for possible injury during the sessions. Participants should be prepared to show that adequate coverage has been obtained from other sources.
- Kids College office hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm (Sept-June) and Mon-Thurs, 7:30am-5:30pm (July-Aug). The Continuing and Community Education office will be open Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm during the week of Kids College.
- If you have any additional questions, please contact continuingeducation@wwcc.edu
- If an emergency occurs, and you need to notify your child, please call the Office of Continuing and Community Education at 509.527.4331. We will contact your child.
- We discourage the use of cell phones during our Kids College as it is disruptive to the program.
A Welcome Letter will be emailed to all registrants three (3) weeks before the start date of Kids College. If you have not received any camp confirmations via email by that time, including a Welcome Letter and Emergency Card, please contact us at 509.527.4331 or continuingeducation@wwcc.edu and we will be able to provide you these forms.
Please fill out the Emergency Information Form for each camper attending Kids College this summer.
It is imperative that Kids College receives the emergency information for our instructors and staff. For your child’s safety and protection, this information must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start date of your child’s camp. Campers will not be admitted to Kids College without a completed Emergency Information Form.
We will need this information to contact you in case your child experiences an accident or illness. You can also email the emergency card information to continuingeducation@wwcc.edu.
The security, confidentiality and privacy of your camper’s personal health information will always be protected. Only Kids College administrative and instructional staff will have access to camper health information.
- Full refunds can be granted if they are requested AT LEAST SEVEN (7) DAYS before the first day of the program. Certain exclusions apply.
- A 40% refund can be issued for cancellations that are requested at least (3) days before the start of the camp.
- Please cancel Kids College registration by calling the Registration Office at 527.4331.
Please make sure you register early to help avoid camp cancellations.
The week before a camp is scheduled to run, we look at the enrollment numbers and will make a final decision if a camp has enough registrations to run. If we need to cancel a camp due to low enrollment, the CCE Office will notify you. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
If we need to cancel a camp for any reason, we will make every attempt to place your camper in another camp. Otherwise, we will give you a full refund for the camp that we cancelled.
If you have any questions, please call our Registration Office at 509.527.4331.
Why do Kids College program prices vary?
Kids College program pricing reflects differences in instructional format, program length, materials, staffing, equipment, and overall program design. Select programs are also supported through grants and community donations, which allows those offerings to be provided at an expanded-access tuition rate.
Is this a discount or promotional pricing?
No. Select Kids College programs are offered at an expanded-access tuition rate supported through national grant funding and community partnerships to increase access and participation.
How do Kids College scholarships work?
Scholarship awards apply to the cost of a single eligible program registration at the time of enrollment and are fully applied upon use. Scholarships do not carry remaining balances, generate credit, or transfer to additional courses, sessions, or future registrations.
Can I use my scholarship for more than one class?
No. Each scholarship applies to a single eligible program registration and is not transferable or divisible across multiple classes or sessions.
What happens if my scholarship is more than the cost of the class?
Scholarships are applied in full to the cost of a single program registration at the time of enrollment. Any unused amount does not carry forward as credit or balance.
Can I split my scholarship between multiple sessions?
No. Scholarships are applied per individual registration and cannot be divided across multiple enrollments.
What is included in a Kids College program?
Each Kids College program includes instruction, hands-on activities, materials, snacks, and lunch in a structured full-day learning environment.
Why do program experiences differ?
Program experiences vary based on instructional design, length, materials, staffing, and learning goals. These differences are reflected in program structure and pricing.
Who can I contact for more information?
Please contact the Kids College program office for additional questions about registration, scholarships, or program details.
