Walla Walla Community College

Vision

Walla Walla Community College is a place where all classified staff are:

  • respected for their knowledge, skills, experience, and contribution to the college,
  • engaged in the college community, and
  • invested in the success of the college and all students

Mission

The Classified Staff Council (CSC) is a conduit for communication and support for all classified employees, and a resource that is intentional, accessible, transparent, and consistent with institutional vision, mission, and values.

Goals for 2025-26

Goal 1 (COMMUNICATION)

The CSC will expand a communication network that will disseminate information throughout the classified community, as needed, to execute the college mission.

Goal 2 (PARTICIPATORY GOVERNANCE)

WWCC Administration supports all classified employees in having the opportunity to be strategically and effectively engaged on a wide variety of college committees and councils, thus fully participating in the college participatory governance process.

Goal 3 (CLASSIFIED STAFF MORALE)

It is the goal of the CSC to increase classified employee morale. Staff should be able to consistently report feeling respected and valued.

Goal 4 (CELEBRATE SUCCESS AND SHARE CONCERNS)

The CSC will provide a conduit where classified employees can celebrate successes, share concerns and have confidence that information can be shared in the appropriate format for productive discussions.
