ABOUT THE LIBRARY

The Walla Walla Community College Libraries serve as a center for learning and engagement. Through access to curated and responsive resources and services, collaborative cross-campus relationships, and outreach activities the Libraries foster a culture of inquiry and care that seeks to promote scholarship, a sense of efficacy and belonging, engagement, creative and critical thinking, cultural awareness, and community.

Remaining current in our professional practice and committed to our student centered values, we make evidence based, inclusive decisions that enhance our campus community’s opportunity for intellectual discovery and lifelong learning via responsible resource stewardship and exceptional service that connects people with knowledge.

We:

anticipate and provide access to the resources and tools students and instructor need to enhance teaching and learning;
promote fluency with information literacy and educational technology;
provide comfortable, safe library spaces conducive to study, inspiration, collaboration, and reflection;
contribute leadership and direction in information policy issues such as fair use, intellectual freedom, privacy, and access to information;
interact with students, faculty, and staff for improved feedback, communication, and information flow.

Library hours vary during the summer, between quarters, on no-class days, and if a campus is closed due to inclement weather.

Clarkston Campus Library

The Clarkston Campus Library is a great place to get help. We specialize in answering your questions. We offer access to a collection of print, electronic and digital resource selected with the WWCC Clarkston student in mind. Services at the Clarkston Campus Library include:

Public access computers
Black & white printing (educational)
Copiers for your convenience
Testing and study space
Electronic resources and databases
Books, CDs, DVDs, periodicals, and Interlibrary Loan Services to support WWCC programs

Walla Walla Campus Library

Located on the second floor of Building D, we’re here to serve your research and study needs with enthusiastic staff who love to answer questions. Whether searching for the best book to read or beginning an in-class research project, the WWCC Library is the place to begin. Services at the Walla Walla Campus Library include:
