Vice President of Instruction Search
On behalf of the search committee, I am pleased to confirm there are four finalists in our search for Vice President of Instruction.
At this stage, we would normally invite candidates to a day-long experience to learn more about their candidacy for our VPI position. While Covid has us doing things differently, we hope to provide a virtual experience that is somewhat similar.
To connect the candidates with as many campus groups as possible, we are scheduling several virtual conversations. Shortly, candidates will be invited to:
- a virtual campus tour with our Director of Outreach, Melissa Rodriguez
- a meeting with Deans and Directors
- a meeting with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) (this group includes Vice President of Business Services Peggy Lauerman, Vice President of Enrollment Services and Institutional Effectiveness Dr. Nick Velluzzi, Director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Margarita Banderas, Vice President of Human Resources Sherry Hartford, WWCC Foundation Executive Director Jessica Cook, Executive Assistant to the President Jerri Ramsey, and President Dr. Chad Hickox)
- a faculty forum
- an open campus forum
- an individual meeting with Dr. Chad Hickox, President
These meetings are scheduled to take place during the weeks of January 4th – 22. We hope to announce an appointment the first week of February.
Faculty, staff and students will receive invitations to these conversations soon.
