The Rules Coordination Office oversees Walla Walla Community College’s rule-making process, including the review, creation, amendment, and repeal of WWCC’s Washington Administrative Code (WAC) rules. Rules are also known as WACs. State agencies, such as WWCC, adopt rules to implement state and federal law. The legal requirements for rule making are found in the Administrative Procedure Act, Chapter 34.05 RCW.
The Rules Coordination Office maintains the College rule-making docket; plans and facilitates public hearings; produces the required legal notices; and publishes all pertinent data on the WWCC webpage.
