Welcome to College in the High School at Walla Walla Community College! Dual Credit program participation is on the rise in Washington, and WWCC is pleased to partner with local high schools in providing opportunities for their students to get the best of both worlds. Students participating in a College in the High School (CiHS) course are enrolled in both their local high school and the College. They earn credit towards high school graduation and also earn transcripted credit at WWCC. If you are ready to take rigorous coursework, start your college education, and prefer to stay on your high school campus, then College in the High School may be right for you!
CiHS classes are taught by qualified, credentialed instructors on the local high school campus. Courses usually run one trimester/semester but may last a full academic year. Students attend their college class as part of their normal high school schedule while continuing to enjoy access to their own teachers, counselors, friends, and extracurricular clubs & sports.
