Associate in Applied Science-Transfer
Associate in Applied Science-Transfer
Dual purpose degree that will prepare students with skills to be employed following graduation and provide a transfer opportunity for a specific program at a specific university. Individual general education components will transfer but will not satisfy all the general education components at a baccalaureate institution.
Associate in Science Option I
Associate in Science Option I
Designed for students intending to major in sciences. The AS- degree provides:
- Completion of similar lower division general education requirements as first- and second-year university students in science-based fields, credit for all courses completed within the AS degree up to and in some cases beyond 90 credits, opportunity to complete math and science prerequisites for the chosen major and to explore other fields within the electives included in the degree.

Expands the knowledge gained in a two-year Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program using higher order thinking skills gained in upper division coursework to prepare the student for todays’ demanding workforce.
