Walla Walla Community College

Shaping Our Community’s Future

Leadership Walla Walla is a program designed to enable participants to learn about Walla Walla’s resources, values, strengths, and challenges. It’s a learning experience geared toward providing an intense look at the many areas of our community. Participants will be provided with opportunities to exchange ideas, network with other community leaders, and begin the process of identifying important community issues.

The program is open to persons living in the greater Walla Walla area. A maximum of twenty individuals will be selected to participate. Because the number of participants is limited, applicants who are not selected are encouraged to reapply in subsequent years.

Sessions are held once a month for nine full days starting in September and running through May.

Curriculum topics for our local area include:

  • Education
  • Health Care
  • Government and Politics
  • Law Enforcement and the Legal System
  • Business, Agriculture, and Economic Development
  • Quality of Life
  • Sustainability

We are currently revamping the Leadership Walla Walla program, in partnership with the Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce. We plan to begin a new cohort beginning Fall 2023. Sign up for our Leadership Walla Walla email list HERE to be notified when we are accepting applicants.
