Today Washington Governor Jay Inslee issued a series of mandates, one of which impacts Walla Walla Community College’s original planned start date to move all instruction on-line.
Effective at midnight this coming Monday night, March 16, all higher education institutions in the state of Washington will be required to conduct instruction online except as required for labs, clinicals, etc., as needed by particular programs of study.
Walla Walla Community College will remain open; services will continue; and instruction will continue. The only change is that face-to-face instruction will end Monday evening and online instruction will begin Tuesday, March 17.
Spring Quarter Update
- Faculty will report for Spring Quarter on Wednesday, April 1
- Student instruction will begin on Monday, April 6, primarily online, except for hands-on educational requirements such as labs, shops, and clinicals
- Please refer to Continuity of Instruction for detailed information
The Walla Walla Community College Clarkston and Walla Walla Campuses will remain open and all services will continue to be provided. WWCC will be meeting with individual employees to develop a plan for some to work from home in accordance with a recently-adopted policy.
We appreciate your flexibility, understanding, and cooperation, as we respond to this rapidly-changing situation.
Thank you. Wash your hands.
