All students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to come together to be informed, register, and get swabbed for the National Bone Marrow Registry in honor of Daryl Miller. Daryl is a beloved professor and counselor that’s been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). AML is a blood cancer that affects the ability of healthy marrow to reproduce red and white cells, as well as, platelets. Often, the cure for an AML patient is a bone marrow transplant. Daryl has been undergoing treatment in Colorado Springs before transferring back to Washington to determine if a transplant is required to save his life! You can support Daryl in his battle by registering as a potentially life-saving bone marrow donor.
