WWCC is privileged to have been identified by Ms. Scott’s team of advisors and experts for supporting our students during the pandemic while also addressing what Ms. Scott identifies as “long term systemic inequities that have been deepened by the crisis, including education for historically marginalized and underserved people.”
On November 15, 2020, Washington State Governor Jay Inslee officially announced updated statewide restrictions (effective November 16 – December 14, 2020) due to the recent spike in Coronavirus activity in our service areas and across the State of Washington. WWCC is monitoring communication from the Governor’s Office and the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) regarding how, or whether, these changes will affect higher education.
