  • Team attended  Transfer Institute which introduced Guided Pathways
  • Hosted Community College Research Center (CCRC) researcher Davis Jenkins at 2017-18 WWCC In-Service
  • Completed Community College Research Center (CCRC) scale of adoption assessment (Report Here)

2018-19

  • Surveyed students via User Experience class on student ability to find program information
  • Surveyed students via Canvas questionnaire for input on understanding of intended pathways (Results Here)
  • Surveyed broad representation of staff and faculty for feedback on pathways framework (Responses Here)
  • Consulted multiple stakeholders regarding WWCC’s Areas of Study structure resulting in the Educational and Career Pathways website.
  • Sent broad representation of staff to attend regional professional development trainings
  • Created New Student Intake Portal to clarify current status and next steps for new students
  • Launched Advising & Registration Days to increase one-on-one interaction during the intake process
  • Redesigned Student Placement Process to broaden multiple measures assessment and access

2019-20

  • The college brought a Guided Pathways council who determined the immediate priorities for Guided Pathways goals and assisted in developing initial Program Maps for transfer pathways
  • Created new Financial Aid Portal to improve student communications and clarity in completing a financial aid file
  • Instituted Last Day to Register initiative to better support student success in class
  • Completed Guided Pathways Workplan and received Feedback

  • Prepared the college for ctcLink/PeopleSoft implementation, ensuring best practices are continued in the new system and leverage new opportunities to be had in the new software to improve retention and success practices
  • Submitted the Work Plan 2022-23
