Parenting Classes

Walla Walla Community College offers many parenting classes throughout the year which may be taken for college credit or audit.  

Parent/Toddler Relationships

These classes are group observation and participation experience for parents and children. Parents study and discuss relevant parenting topics, enhanced through current literature, videos and guest speakers. Observing and interacting with chidren provides the laboratory experience.

  • ONE YEAR OLDS (12-24 months): Wednesday mornings, 9:15-11:15 am
  • TWO YEAR OLDS (24-36 months): Thursday mornings, 9:15-11:15 am OR Friday mornings, 9:15-11:15 am

Parent Cooperative Preschools

WWCC offers a variety of different preschool programs for children from 3 to 5 years of age. Parents function as aides in the preschool classroom and participate in parent education classes and attend monthly meetings. Children attend preschool in a lab setting.
