The mail list process is a program that distributes email messages to subscribers of topic-oriented mailing lists or email groups.  Each list consists of individuals who share a common business function and a mail list simplifies communication with all those individuals.

There are two different types of mailing lists on our server, (1) System Mailing Lists, which are managed on the server and unavailable to subscribers, for example “staff.all@wwcc.edu”; and (2) Custom Mailing lists, reflecting a department or group and managed by individuals.
