AAAS Transfer Degree Requirements

Often students who have earned a professional/technical degree (AAAS) decide later that they want to transfer to a four-year institution. The AAAS degree is not designed to be a transfer degree because the coursework does not fulfill the general education requirements at most four-year institutions. However, some four-year institutions have designed programs to accommodate students with these degrees. These programs are often called upside down degrees, or 2 + 2 plans. Contact the four-year institution you plan to attend or the WWCC transfer center for more information, 509.527.3679.
