College Expectations

 

WWCC College students are expected to…

1.Take responsibility for themselves, their actions and their education;

2. Know and follow academic policies, deadlines and procedures as listed in college materials;

3. Respect others, challenge culture-bound assumptions, explore and appreciate different cultures and contribute to an increasingly diverse global community;

4. Read all materials sent to them by the college and be aware of campus resources;

5. Balance the demands of school with work, family, and other obligations;

6. Be responsible for initiating such actions as: scheduling advising appointments, registering for classes, requesting transcripts, and applying for graduation;

7. Know your instructors, administrators, advisors, and peers;

8. Understand what instructors expect of you and be aware of all grading policies, due dates, and test schedules;

9. Be an active participant both in and out of the classroom; and

10. Seek out credible sources of information;
