Who is my advisor?
If you are in a professional/technical program, your advisor will be an instructor or faculty member in that program.
If you are planning to transfer, your advisor could be a counselor, academic advisor, or an instructor.
You can change your advisor at any time by completing a change of information for at the admissions office.
How do I set up an appointment with an advisor?
If your advisor is an instructor you can contact that instructor directly to set up an advising appointment.
If your advisor is an academic advisor or counselor, you can schedule your appointment through the Student Development Center at (509) 527.4262. To correspond with an online advisor, CLICK HERE.
NEW STUDENTS
1. Return ADMISSIONS APPLICATION with $40 fee.
2. Schedule a PLACEMENT TESTING appointment with the Student Development Center by calling 509.527.1864 or 509.527.4262. It is recommended that testing be completed 2 weeks prior to the date that you plan to register.
3. Schedule an ADVISING appointment by calling 509.527.4262 or 509.527.1864.
4. Complete the registration worksheet, included in class schedule front section, before you attempt to register.
5. Register using web registration at your assigned time.
6. Tuition is due according to “2003-2004 Registration and Tuition Due Date section”.
7. Have your ID photo taken in the ASB office area. Must show your business
office receipt of payment and one piece of photo ID (i.e., driver’s license.)
RETURNING STUDENTS
1. Check website for registration time; confirm your student identification number on the web.
2. Sign up for advisor appointment at your advisor’s office prior to registration time to obtain
your quarterly Registration Access number which allows you to register.
3. Bring the following to your advising appointment:
•Transcripts
•Placement test results
•Degree audit, and
•Quarterly plan of classes with alternate schedule (use www .wwcc.edu/kiosk for easy
schedule planner)
4. Complete the registration worksheet, included in class schedule front section, before you
attempt to register.
5. Register using web registration at your assigned time.
6. Tuition is due according to “2003-2004 Registration and Tuition Due Date section”.
7. Make payment to the Business Office. If you already have a financial aid package, the
Financial Aid office will automatically apply your award amount toward your bill. If you
owe a balance, you must pay by the tuition due date (see schedule).

TRANSFER STUDENTS
If you are a transfer student from another college, you can set up an advising appointment by calling (509) 527-4262. It is highly recommended that you submit copies of your official transcripts to the admissions office prior to the appointment so they can be evaluated.

Online Advising/Registration Tools
Schedule Planner
1) Click on https://www.wwcc.ctc.edu/kiosk/schdl_plan/waci210Base.html
2) Select the quarter from the drop-down box and click “Select Courses”.
3) Reserve the times you are not available for classes by clicking individual boxes in the time grid. You can also reserve the hour for every day by clicking in the far right column or whole day by clicking the column heading.
4) Type in course(s) you need or click on “View Course List” to select courses from an alphabetical listing.
Note: Use three-digit numbers for course numbers. For example, to enter English Composition (ENG 101), type in “ENG 101”.
5) Click on “Submit Selections”
6) Select the desired course(s) and click “Register”. This will take you to web registration.
AA Planning Matrix
1) Click here for the AA Planning Matrix.
2) Select your quarter and campus and click submit.
3) You will be warned that the classes are updated daily at 7:00 am. You must click the course name to get real time information. Click OK.
The Matrix lists open academic classes by discipline and time.
Web Registration
1) Click on https://www.wwcc.ctc.edu/kiosk/webreg/entrance.html
You will be asked if you have moved, answer appropriately.
2) Enter your student ID and quarterly registration access number issued by your advisor.
3) Click register
4) A reminder of the tuition due date will be displayed. If you are registering after this date, tuition is due at the time of registration. Click “Continue”.
5) On the welcome screen, verify you name and the quarter. Click “Continue”.
6) Enter the schedule line number (also called an item number) for the course(s) you want in the boxes on the left hand side. The course(s) you selected will be processed. You can also add and drop classes from this screen. Click “Finish” when completed.
7) Click “View My Schedule” to print you schedule.
8) Be sure to close the browser to protect your privacy.
What do I do if a class is full?
If a class is full, the class may have a waitlist you can sign up for.
As space becomes available, students on the waitlist roll into the available seats within the first 3 days of the quarter. If you decide to sign up for a waitlist, it will be your responsibility to check your schedule daily to see if you have been enrolled in the class. There is no system for notifying students that they have been rolled into a seat in the class. You are responsible for paying for any additional tuition costs. How can I change my schedule?
You can change your schedule by following the web registration instructions above prior to the first day of the quarter. All changes on the first day of the quarter and thereafter must be made at the admissions office.
How can I get a copy of my schedule?
It is a good idea to print out and check your schedule prior to the first day of class. Often instructors and room assignments change after you have registered. To print a copy of your schedule, go to https://www.wwcc.ctc.edu/kiosk/entrance.htm
Terminology
What does “ARR” mean?
The abbreviation “ARR” means by arrangement. Typically you will see this abbreviation if you are registering for a distance learning course, a course with variable time, or an independent study course where you make arrangements with the instructor.
Who is Staff?
Many courses in the course schedule will have “Staff” listed as the instructor. This means that the course(s) may either be taught by an adjunct (part-time) instructor or an instructor has not yet been assigned.
