Hungarian goulash, though wonderful, isn't the only dish that you will make as typical fare. You will work with sausages and cured meats, st rudel and pastries and other cookies typical of Christmas traditions. While you tour some of the area's churches and examine their architectural styles you will do so with any eye to the relationship of the ideologies that inspired the designs of the buildings. St. Paul's Episcopal, First Congregational, Central Christian, First Methodist, First Presbyterian, St. Patrick's, and Trinity Lutheran will be among the churches visited. Get an insider's view of local theaters by meeting the directors of current productions and taking a backstage tour of the theaters.
