  Students enrolled in the Automotive Program will be required tofurnish his/her own hand tools. Students in the program are given a list of required tools which can be obtained from one of several sources, with special student pricing programs through the College. Quality tool manufacturers include: Snap-On, Mac, Matco, Proto, Craftsman, SK, and others. First semester student's tools will cost approximately $600 to $1,300, depending upon the brand of tools and the supplier, with an additional cost of $900 spread over the remaining quarters. Tools are an investment that will last a lifetime. A quality tool increases your productivity and helps to prevent injury. The tool lists below provide Snap-On part numbers only for reference.
