Are non-US citizens eligible for employment at WWCC?

As long as you have lawful authorization to work in the U.S. under permit, visa, etc., you can work here.

The online application requires an email address. How do I get one?

If you do not already have an email address, there are may free options to get one. A couple of the various provides are Gmail (gmail.com), Outlook (www.outlook.com), or Yahoo (www.mail.yahoo.com).

What if I don’t have a computer at home?

You can access our online application from any internet-connected computer. You can find computers at the following locations:

  1. Public Libraries (Walla Walla Public LibraryAsotin County Library)
  2. Washington State Workforce centers (Worksource Walla Walla)

Where can I find the contact information for the hiring manager of a position?

How do I apply?

To apply for one of our open positions, please visit the Faculty Jobs or Non-Faculty Jobs page, click on the position(s) you are interested in and select the Apply button on the top right hand corner of the page.

On the attachments page of your application is where you will upload your application documents.

Do I have to submit all required documents in the application to be considered?

Yes, you must submit all required documents to be considered.

Do I have to meet all the requirements of the job to be considered?

You don’t meet every qualification listed? Please apply anyway! Studies have shown that traditionally marginalized communities- such as women, LGBTQ+, and people of color- are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every qualification- even if they might be a great fit for the role. If you’re excited about this opportunity but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every single qualification in the job description, we encourage you to still consider applying!

Can I add more information to my application once it has been submitted?

Once your application has been submitted, you are unable to change the information submitted on that particular application. In order to add new information or make changes, you can submit a new application and we will make sure to use your most current application.

Will I receive notice if I do not get selected for an interview?

Yes, you will receive email notifications from our HR department on any updates. This is why it is important to make sure that your email address is correct on your application.

How do I get notified of new job postings?

  2. Click on either the Faculty or Non-faculty jobs button under the Come Work With Us heading.
  3. Click on the ‘Menu’ tab at the top left-hand corner
  4. Click on ‘Request to be notified of future postings
  5. Check the boxes next to the job categories you would like to receive notifications on
  6. Click on ‘Subscribe’
  7. Complete the form with your name and email address and click submit.
