Application Process
Step 1
Apply for admissions at Walla Walla Community College
  • Pick up an application for from the admissions department, fill it out, and return it to the admissions department.
Step 2
Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available at the Financial Aid office or online.
Step 3
After you receive a copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR) from the Department of Education, verify its accuracy, make any necessary corrections, then submit it to the Financial Aid Office.

Read your SAR carefully and ask us if you have any questions regarding required documents.
Step 4
Complete a Financial Aid Information Form and submit it to the Financial Aid Office. This form is available online or at the Financial Aid Office.

Step 5
Once you have been awarded funds, an Award Notification will be mailed to you following our award timeline. See information in "financial aid schedule" for detailed dates.
Step 6
On the first day of classes, pick up a verification of attendance slip, or download here. Have your instructor sign it after you have attended class.
Step 7
Bring your signed verification of attendance and current student ID to Room 185. Your checks will be given to you after you have signed the appropriate paperwork.

Online Students
Students, who cannot come to campus because of the distance involved, should request an e-mail from their instructor verifying participation be sent directly to, with a c.c. included for the student. Once they receive a copy from the instructor, they can send an e-mail requesting that their funds be mailed to them.
