Description
In-depth study of the relationship between the mind and body. Course includes application of psychological theories, research, and intervention strategies to performance enhancements in a variety of settings. Formerly PSY 196. Recommended: READ 088 or higher.

Intended Learning Outcomes
  • Explain how the relationship between mind and body affects human performance in a variety of settings.
  • Distinguish among theories of motivation, learning, memory, and attributional style as they relate to human performance in every day life.
  • Explain psychological factors related to individual differences in human performance.
  • Apply psychological research on human performance to self and others.
