Master Course Outline Leadership Course Number: WELD 299 Credits: 1 Hours per Quarter: 10 Lecture Hours:10 Description Encourage students to develop awareness of their leadership potential and abilities through small group discussions and assumption of leadership roles and responsibilities. Students will acquire information, experience diverse points of view, construct knowledge and practice a variety of interpersonal and social skills, such as communicating, goal-setting, decision-making, team-building, and managing stress. Students must complete at least two of the welding skill tests per AWS/WABO standards. Prerequisite: Must be enrolled in last quarter of AAAS Welding degree.
