Description
Maintenance and construction of landscapes that include turf, flowers, shrubs, trees, fencing, and hard surfaces.

Intended Skills and Attitude Outcomes
A. Knowledge of cost itemization.
B. Knowledge of the differences between as builds and original design drawings.
C. Knowledge of sod laying principles and the ability to lay sod.
D. Knowledge of landscape design.
E. Knowledge of seed bed preparation.
F. Knowledge of fence construction.
G. Knowledge of construction methods used for decks, patios and walkways.
H. Knowledge of tree pruning and tree removal principles and the ability to prune.
I. Knowledge of shrub selection and planting.
J. Knowledge of the use of edging materials.
