Master Course Outline Leadership Course Number: PGM 299 Credits: 1 Hours per Quarter: 20    Lab Hours:20 Description Relevant information on how to establish a productive team and lead a team effectively will be discussed. The student will learn to handle problems with teams as they arise and evaluate a team's productivity. In this course students will also explore how to create a vision, align key allies, use communication skills to help lead, motivate others to keep going, and harness the power of creative conflict. Prerequisite: Instructor permission. Intended Skills and Attitude Outcomes A. Ability to identify possible career paths in the golf industry. B. Knowledge of fundamental golf facility business practices. C. Ability to perform essential operations necessary in a golf shop.
