Master Course Outline Practicum: LPN to ADN Transition Course Number: NURS 114 Credits: 6 Hours per Quarter: 120    Lab Hours:120 Description Focuses on enhancing skills for LPNs entering the second year of the nursing program. Care is provided in acute care facilities and community based settings. Prerequisite: Admission to second year of the Nursing program. Co-requisite: NURS 104. Intended Skills and Attitude Outcomes A. Demonstrates critical thinking in the use of the nursing process for clients of all age groups experiencing normal life processes or common/chronic illnesses. B.
