The focus is on providing care for clients in acute care and community based settings. An additional focus is on transition to the role of Practical Nurse. Prerequisites: NURS 102 and 112. Co-requisite: NURS 103. Intended Skills and Attitude Outcomes A. Demonstrates critical thinking in the use of the nursing process to meet needs of groups of clients from all age groups experiencing normal life processes or common/chronic illnesses. B.
