Master Course Outline LPN to ADN Transition Course Number: NURS 104 Credits: 6 Hours per Quarter: 60 Lecture Hours:60 Description The focus of this course is assisting LPNs admitted to the second year of the nursing program to fulfill program requirements. Use of the nursing process, critical thinking, and completion of nursing skills is emphasized. Prerequisites: Admission to second year of Nursing program. Co-requisite NURS 114. Intended Skills and Attitude Outcomes A. Demonstrates critical thinking in the use of the nursing process for clients of all age groups experiencing normal life processes or common/chronic illnesses.
