Description
The focus of this course is preparation to complete the NCLEX-PN and enter practice as a PN. Prerequisites: NURS 102 and 112. Co-requisite: NURS 113.

Intended Skills and Attitude Outcomes
A. Demonstrates critical thinking in use of the nursing process to meet needs of groups of clients from all age groups experiencing normal life processes or common/chronic illnesses.
B. Manages care for groups of clients.
C. Performs technical procedures in a safe and effective manner.
D. Uses communication/interpersonal skill to meet needs.
