Master Course Outline John Deere Harvesting Equipment Course Number: JDAS 230 Credits: 2 Hours per Quarter: 20 Lecture Hours:20 Description Performance of John Deere harvesting equipment will be analyzed. Topics include theory, design, principles of operation, proper set up and adjustment of all harvesting equipment. Emphasis on combines, hay, and forage equipment. Student may not earn credit for both JDAS 230 and JD 230. Intended Skills and Attitude Outcomes A. Knowledge of operation of various types of harvesting equipment. B. Ability to adjust various types of harvesting equipment for maximum productivity. C. Ability to diagnose harvesting problems.
