Master Course Outline John Deere Harvesting Equipment Course Number: JD 230 Credits: 4 Hours per Quarter: 50 Lecture Hours:30    Lab Hours:20 Description Performance of John Deere harvesting equipment will be analyzed. Topics include theory, design, principles of operation, proper set-up and adjustment of all harvesting equipment. Emphasis on combines, hay, and forage equipment. Student may not earn credit for both JD 230 and JDAS 230. Intended Skills and Attitude Outcomes A. Ability to operate various types of harvesting equipment. B. Ability to adjust various types of harvesting equipment for maximum productivity. C. Ability to diagnose harvesting problems. D. Ability to repair various types of harvesting equipment.
