Provides proper performance of John Deere planting equipment. Topics include theory, design, principles of operation, proper setup and adjustment of all planting equipment. Student may not earn credit for both JD 225 and JDAS 225. |

A. Ability to set up and adjust row crop planters, grain drill planters, and monitoring systems.
B. Ability to troubleshoot row crop planters, grain drill planters, and monitoring systems.
C. Knowledge of necessary adjustments for various sizes of seeds.
