Master Course Outline John Deere Hydraulics Course Number: JD 205 Credits: 9 Hours per Quarter: 120 Lecture Hours:60    Lab Hours:60 Description The principles and application of fluid flow and hydraulic components are discussed. Testing and repair of low- pressure and high-pressure systems and control circuits are explained, demonstrated, and practiced. Offered to second year students only. Student may not earn credit in both JD 205 and JDAS 205. Intended Skills and Attitude Outcomes A. Knowledge of the basic theory of operation of the hydraulic systems used on John Deere equipment. B. Knowledge of testing and diagnosing hydraulic system problems. C. Ability to repair various hydraulic components by using a technical manual. D. Ability to explain proper maintenance procedures on hydraulic systems.
