Description
This course provides a basic survey of the major artistic, literary, and cultural achievements of the 20th and 21st centuries, with emphasis on European and American achievement. We will look at the web of influence among politics, art, literature, music, religion, psychology and philosophy to assess how our current world was shaped over the last hundred years. [H]
