Description
Hands-on shoeing and forge work experience with live horses. The student learns how to trim a horse's hooves, make or shape shoes, and apply them. Prerequisite: FRR 194. |

Skills and Attitude Outcomes |
A. Ability to recognize limb deviations and way-of-going faults.
B. Ability to apply basic remedial shoes.
C. Knowledge of industry applications (racing, hunters/jumpers, rodeo horses, show horses, draft horses, and endurance horses).
