Description
Based on the fundamentals of English grammar, progresses from vocabulary development to sentence-level grammatical instruction within the context of a wide range of personally relevant topics. Prerequisite: Appropriate CASAS placement score.

Intended Skills and Attitude Outcomes
A. Ability to use capitalization and end puncuation correctly.
B. Ability to write simple sentences using BE verb, subject pronouns, and present progressive tense correctly.
C. Ability to identify basic parts of speech (nouns, verbs, pronouns).
D. Ability to produce subject and verb agreement and use correct tense and form.
