Description
Instruction in the fundamental priciples of the mechanics of rigid bodies. Emphasis is on forces in a plane, forces in space, statics of rigid bodies, rigid bodies in three dimensions, centroids, friction and moments of inertia. Prerequisite: MATH& 152, or instructor permission. Student may not earn credit for both ENT 221 and ENGR& 214. Formerly CET 220, Engineering Mechanics - Statics.
