Description
Study of classroom behavior management by gaining practical and theoretical information relating to successful management practices in the classroom. Topics include provisions and practices necessary to establish and maintain an appropriate learning environment. Recommended: READ 088. Student may not earn credit for both ECE 170 and ED 170. |

B. Design, implement, and monitor a variety of classroom management strategies.
C. Plan collaboratively to create and present a positive reinforcement system.
D. Teach a concept to the class using a cooperative learning strategy
E. Create an appropriate response to a hypothetical playground scenario through team discussion and oral response.
F. Research ADD/ADHD.
G. Discuss importance of utilizing social skills as a method to improve student behavior.
H. Practice appropriate communication skills
